Duties and responsibilities
As malware analyst you like looking for a new unique sample, attack patterns, chasing cybercrime groups. At DeNexus you will be a part of Threat Intelligence team, contributing to the product and services, finding sophisticated threats, attacks and guessing attacker’s logic.
Find, categorize and track new malware samples
Write dedicated YARA rules
Understand the malware behavior
Contribute to threat intelligence reports
Expertise of Assembly
Knowledge of WinAPI
Knowledge of executable files
Expertise in YARA rules
Knowledge of vulnerabilities and how exploits work
Strong understanding of malware communication methods
IDAPro, Ghidra, OllyDBG etc.. – obvious, but should be mentioned here
Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK
•Remote. Should be EU or NA citizen
•Occasional travel to San Francisco, USA
