Application Support Engineer, Europe
Location: Madrid - Spain (Hybrid) | Full-time
Job Purpose/Position Summary
In this role, you will help our software platform perform better to achieve our business goals in the company and the uptime objectives in our production environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide application support to partners and customers using DeNexus software and systems following our SLAs.
- Responsible to communicate problems and resolutions to your peers, clients and management in a clear and concise manner.
- Troubleshooting problems by gathering and analyzing log files
- Communicating with the customers and partners about the progress of work and problem resolution.
- Monitoring systems and following fault resolution procedures.
- Deliver new Releases to client environments including Test, UAT, and Production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
- A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
- Knowledge of IT Service Desk tools and best practices.
- Proven troubleshooting skills.
- SQL Language understanding and experience or Windows and Linux Server Administration.
- Logfile analysis understanding.
- TCP/IP Networks basic concepts knowledge and internet network knowled
- Manage CI and CD tools with DevOps skills; Gitlab.
- Any monitoring system experience.
Location
- Hybrid, based in Madrid or Spain
- Occasional travel to: Madrid (Spain), San Francisco (USA).
